NEIAC Mission

North East Irving Area Coalition (NEAIC) was formed in response to interest in mineral rights leasing associated with the Barnett Shale. NEIAC holds no official or legal position, is a volunteer organization and is not connected with any driller or other mineral leasing company.

The intent of NEIAC is to provide property owners in the area with information and education about the mineral leasing process. The decision to lease your mineral rights is a personal and individual one. Informed and educated property owners are better prepared to make solid and well-informed decisions in connection with leasing their mineral rights.

NEIAC’s goal is to organize interested property owners in an effort to maximize any profits gained from the leasing of mineral rights, minimize any environmental impact associated with the same and provide a central setting where property owners may stay informed about mineral leasing and drilling developments in our area.
